Rep. Steve Simon - Letter of Support

I'm writing in enthusiastic support of Vanessa Blomgren for DFL Party Secretary.

Vanessa is a talented and effective DFL leader.  She served as my campaign manager, so I had the opportunity to work closely with her for several months.  She knows how to win elections for Democrats.  She is bold, strategic, disciplined, organized, hard-working, and attentive to detail.  She is relentless on behalf of Democrats and DFL principles.  She gets results.    

Vanessa is politically savvy.  She understands that Democrats have to be proactive and creative in order to grow our party, elect our candidates, and advance DFL priorities.  She knows that we have to reach out to people all over Minnesota in order to make our DFL Party the best that it can be.  For Vanessa, that means a sensible blend of new technology and good old-fashioned people power.  She realizes that DFL success will come as a result of patience and perseverance.  

Vanessa has the energy and the creativity to be a great DFL Party Secretary.  She is dynamic, personable, and thoughtful.  She'll travel anywhere and speak to anyone to help Democrats.  We can always count on her to be a true and dedicated DFL team player.
