I’m writing to announce my support of Vanessa Blomgren in her bid for the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party Secretary.
For years, Vanessa has dedicated herself to helping elect Democrats at every level of government. She has played an active role in the DFL, acting as Secretary for Senate District 44, the Fifth Congressional District, and MYDFL. In addition, Vanessa has volunteered for numerous DFL campaigns, served as a precinct chair, and managed Rep. Steve Simon's 2010 campaign.
Vanessa is committed to building a stronger party so that we can re-elect President Obama, Senator Klobuchar, and take back the Minnesota House and Senate in 2012. She will work hard to build relationships with voters across the state and get more people involved in the political process.
I urge you to support Vanessa Blomgren for DFL Party Secretary. She is an emerging leader who is committed to strengthening our party and increasing political participation. I am confident that she will work tirelessly to help advance our shared progressive values.
